Sesame Miso Dressing
This is at least Japanese-inspired.
The recipe makes enough to fill to the capacity, plus a bit more(it all fits - barely) in my nifty dressing bottles. This recipe should easily be increased or decreased without issue.
Sesame Miso Dressing
1/2 c roasted sesame oil1/2 c miso
1/2 c honey - orange blossom if possible
1/4 c rice vinegar
1/4 c fresh squeeze lemon
4 tsp minced garlic
4 tsp minced ginger
1 tsp ground black pepper
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- Add all ingredients in a mixing bowl.
- Mix well
- Transfer to a dressing container or any container with a cover
- Refrigerate when not using
Where possible, I got ingredients that were made in Japan. It makes it better.
It is best if you take it out of the refrigerator an hour or so before using to allow the honey to soften up.
