Perhaps warm spice is a better name for it.
Store in a container made to hold spices. I use a small glass jar with a snug cork lid. The jars I have are 8 ounces and this recipe makes about 7.5 ounces.
Italian Heat Spice2 tablespoons ground rosemary
2 tablespoons dried basil
2 tablespoons dried marjoram
2 tablespoons garlic powder
2 tablespoons onion powder
2 tablespoons sweet paprika
1 tablespoon crushed red pepper flakes
1 tablespoon dried thyme
1 tablespoon cracked black pepper
1 tablespoon dried lemon zest
- Mix all of the spices until well blended
